Stay sharp, to smell the roses

The Christchurch Botanic Gardens sit at the heart of Christchurch and are considered a living museum spanning over 21 hectares. Exploring the whole place might sound ambitious, but a calm stroll through one of the gardens is a must. Just a short drive away, it is an easy activity to fit in on a lunch break, or at the end of a long day to unwind. If you have a little more time, you could even pack a picnic and take a day of respite in nature.
